Yin Yoga is a calming practice where through the process of letting go of mental and physical stress a deep feeling of connection and mindfulness is cultivated. An antidote to today’s fast paced lifestyle and a reasonable complement to more active sports. Most of the poses are carried out seated or lying down and are held between 3-5 minutes whereby the postures can affect the deep set connective tissue, the fascia. This also gives you time to relax, become still and to draw the attention inwards.
